With mentors in a high-end furniture store while in college in Fargo, ND, Anderson went on to graduate school in San Francisco. After graduating, he joined the venerable New York City firm of W & J Sloane as lighting buyer in their main Sutter St. San Francisco store.

Globe-trotting these past years, Anderson has developed a certain “look” rather than a specific “style”. International buying trips and years of professional design service have afforded him an uncanny eye for providing value with style. An understanding of careful selection, a thorough knowledge of the building trades, special lighting expertise and a keen color sense define the skills that set him apart as a gifted designer.
